Dr. Kelly Roy

Dr. Kelly Roy graduated from the University of Illinois in 2002 with her husband Dr. Chris Welch. They both moved to the southeastern Wisconsin area and have been practicing around the area. In May 2008, she joined the team at Lake Geneva Animal Hospital and Geneva Lakes Animal Hospital. Her primary interests include preventative medicine, internal medicine, behavior and rehabilitation. In 2007, she took the IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) course to learn veterinary acupuncture. She currently uses acupuncture techniques for medical problems such as pain management and chronic diseases (bladder problems including cystitis, incontinence, recurrent urolithiasis; allergies; neurological diseases such as degenerative myelopathy). She enjoys the challenges that veterinary medicine provide and the interactions with both clients and pets.
